Our research team is interested in understanding the theoretical aspects of nanostructured materials, mostly for use in molecular electronics but also in the emerging field of hybrid nano-bio devices.
The systems under study go from relatively small organic molecules, to metal-proteins and long, conjugated polymers; from pure carbon nanotubes and nanoscrolls, to purely inorganic nanostructures such as nanowires.
